- Student Mathematics League Competition
Friday March 7, 5:20-6:20 pm in HH-218
"Ohlone's top five individual scores determine Ohlone's team score. Through the generosity of ASOC, all five (and two other top-tier scorers possibly chosen at random) will receive $50. The top six scorers who wish to will represent Ohlone at the upcoming calculus-level Mathletics competition in April, where more prizes and recognition are possible."
- Undergraduate Mathematics Conference
Saturday April 19, Sonoma State University
"In this conference, undergraduates will have the opportunity to present and attend 15-minute talks about projects that they are working on. These projects could include undergraduate research projects, independent study projects, or any other independent work they are doing that goes beyond the standard course curriculum. The conference will conclude with an invited talk by Juan C. Meza from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories tailored toward undergraduate math students."
