Work Education Experience (WEX), uses a student work experience as a basis to receive academic credit. WEX education helps students clarify career goals and results in greater self- confidence and increased motivation.
Whether you are paid or volunteer, you can earn college credit for learning or improving job knowledge and skills. For General Work Experience, earn up to 3 units of transferable, elective credit in one semester; for Occupational Work Experience, earn up to 4 units per semester. You will develop personalized learning objectives with the assistance of your employer and the Work Experience Coordinator (WEXC).
Please note that this is an open-entry, open-exit class. However, the last day to enter the class is Monday of Week 8.
