About the Louie-Meager Art Gallery

The Louie Meager Art Gallery goes into the new season with excitement for the quality and variety of its upcoming show schedule. Over 1200 people per month visit the gallery exhibits including guests from the Bay Area community as well as many groups of elementary, high school and off campus college classes'  tours. The Louie Meager Gallery offers a diverse museum quality program with informational wall texts and catalogues provided to enhance and inform.

The gallery has a 30 year history of presenting professional fine arts, closing each year with a juried Ohlone student show of recent work. The Gallery Outreach program provides tours for local elementary and high school students, art workshops for the nearby deaf school, seminars for Ohlone College classes, San Jose State University and other colleges upon request.

Continuously running exhibits of works from professional artists are presented throughout the Smith Center season. Drop by the gallery before a show or at intermission. No charge for admission to the gallery.

The gallery is located in the Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, Room SC-143. See Fremont Campus Map for more detail about its location.

The current exhibit schedule is not available. Please check back at a later date.
