Getting Started - Faculty

We have several options and TUTORIALS available to help facilitate online teaching and learning at Ohlone. (Faculty Checklist.) Start with Blackboard, and then explore the other tools that we can provide support for such as iTunesU, CAMTASIA & CCC Confer.

To Enter the Blackboard Course simply go to:

http://bb-ohlone.blackboard.com/ and

Enter your user name:

The first two letters of your first name; the first two letters of your last name; followed by the last four digits of your Student ID

Enter your password (default is student - in lower case) You will be required to change your password on your first login

Faculty Resources

Ohlone online provides training and support for faculty that wish to teach "fully online" or "web-enhance" their classroom courses. To get started:

• BlackBoard course request form
• HELP ticket form

(Submit a trouble ticket to eCampus. NOT for course request)

 

Ohlone Online provides a flexible and convenient opportunity for students to take courses online. In addition, we enable classroom based courses to be Web-Enhanced using communication and collaboration tools. All of our courses are facilitated by instructors who develop their curriculum. While taking an online course, expect a combination of quizzes, assignments or discussion board postings due weekly.
