Tom Johnson


Tom Johnson teaches Music 116: Sound Reinforcement and Live Recording.

Tom is also the owner of Johnson Digital Audio, California’s busiest remote/live recording service. He is the radio broadcast engineer for Oakland East Bay Symphony and Midsummer Mozart. Tom has recorded concerts from Ohlone College to the Glinka Capella in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is the live sound engineer for the Mike Vax Jazz Orchestra and the sound designer for West Bay Opera and the Ohlone College Summerfest Series. Tom has been recording since 1987. You can check out more groups "JDA" records at www.johnsondigital.com. In his spare time, Tom is the principle Tuba player for the Fremont Symphony Orchestra.
