Join the Ohlone Chamber Singers, led by Dennis Keller, in celebrating the music of George Frederick Handel on the 250th anniversary of his death. The Chamber Singers will sing his rarely performed Dixit Dominus for choir, chamber orchestra, and soloists. The evening’s program will be completed with the always popular Gloria composed by Antonio Vivaldi.

Ohlone’s Jazz/Rock Combos, directed by Tim Roberts, present their final on-campus concert of the semester. This semester features the horn section on tunes by Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, and Chicago. You’ll also hear jazz standards, a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the Beatles’ Let It Be album, and tunes from contemporary artists like Paramore, Coldplay, Feist, Jason Mraz, Sara Barielles, and many more.

California’s Premier Wind Orchestra presents a concert of new and familiar music. Familiar compositions include Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 Finale, Ticheli’s Amazing Grace, William Schuman’s When Jesus Wept, Alfred Reed’s Armenian Dances”
and Camphouse’s Three London Miniatures.
New music includes Rob Smith’s Fuse, Brent Heisinger’s Fanfare and Prayer, and Ian Polster’s Serenade for Band.
