Ohlone Wind Orchestra, Jackson Theatre FlyerThe Ohlone Wind Orchestra, directed by Tony Clements, presents their first concert of the Fall, featuring soloist Poh Soon Teng performing Robert Jager's Concerto for Percussion and Band. Other works include show tunes: John Williams: Four Symphonic Themes, John Krance's Broadway Curtain Time and Robert W. Smith's arrangement of John Williams' Harry Potter Symphonic Suite; and much more.

Community Band, Jackson Theatre FlyerOhlone's Community Band, directed by Tony Clements, presents a Fall concert. The performance will feature a variety of works including classics and contemporary pieces and band member, Jacob Guilbeau will make his conducting debut this evening. Gustav Holst’s First Suite in Eb will be performed in honor of the work’s 100th anniversary. On the program are also Toccata Marziale by Vaughan Williams, Army of the Nile, by Kenneth J. Alford and the Overture to La Forza del Destino by Verdi. Contemporary pieces include Silverado by Bruce Broughton and the Hobbits movement from The Lord of the Rings Symphony by Johan de Meij, as well as much more.

Community Chorale, Centerville Presbyterian Church, Fremont FlyerCommunity Chorale's seventy voice choir, under the direction of Darryl Guzman, will present the Mass in G by Franz Schubert and Te Deum by contemporary composer Mark Hayes.

Jazz/Rock Combos, Jackson TheatreThe Jazz/Rock Combo classes, led by Tim Roberts, present a night of musical variety, featuring a collection of James Bond theme songs, Latin tunes from the 60s, and a tribute to Michael Jackson. The group includes a 6-piece horn section, myriad rhythm sections, and a large group of talented singers. See it live before it hits YouTube!

Featuring Ohlone's Community Band, Wind Orchestra, Tuba Ensemble, and special guests, the Silicon Valley Brass Band, directed by Tony Clements, performing your favorite holiday music, featuring George Roumanis' epic new work, Evergreen Christmas: A Symphony of Carols, and Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas Music.

For an additional treat this year, the beautiful pipe organ, positioned in the Mission's balcony, will be featured by the playing of Janet Holmes, our accompanist.
