Community Chorale
A shared enjoyment of music and performing unites students, faculty and community members in the Ohlone College Community Chorale, under the direction of Darryl Guzman.
The Ohlone College Community Chorale and Fremont Christian School Concert Choir have been accepted to the Manhattan Concert Productions Masterworks Series at Lincoln Center in New York City. The performance will be in the Avery Fisher Concert Hall. We will be joining 11 other choirs along with full orchestra in performing Mack Wilberg's Requiem. Dr. René Clausen will direct.
The trip will be from March 23-29, 2011.
How to Participate:
The Chorale is structured as a one-unit class at Ohlone College. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings during fall and spring semesters from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Rehearsals are held at Centerville Presbyterian Church in Fremont (4360 Central Ave, across from the DMV).
