Advanced Jazz/Rock Combos

Jazz/Rock Combos and Advanced Jazz/Rock Combos are taught by Tim Roberts. The first class is open to all musicians—singers, guitars, horns, drums. Students are grouped into bands and learn tunes in a variety of styles: Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin, etc. The second class is a continuation of the first at a more advanced level.
All levels are welcome to begin. However you must have command of your instrument, and the ability to read music is recommended. New tunes are on the set list each semester, so the class may be repeated. This class is closely aligned with other classes: History of Rock and Roll, Applied Vocal Studies and Music Theory.
