The Jazz/Rock Combo class (formerly known as Jam Band) is taught by Tim Roberts.This class is open to all musicians—singers, guitars, horns, drums. Students are grouped into bands and learn tunes in a variety of styles: Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin, etc.

All levels are welcome. However you must have command of your instrument, and the ability to read music is recommended. New tunes are on the set list each semester, so the class may be repeated. This class is closely aligned with other classes: History of Rock and Roll, Applied Vocal Studies and Music Theory.
