Don
Cardoza has taught music at Ohlone College since 1990. Range
of subjects include theory, musicianship, sight singing,
classical piano, jazz piano, jazz vocal and instrumental
ensembles.
Mr Cardoza
studied composition with Ton DeLeeuw and Terry Riley and has
written extensively for a variety of settings. He has played
professionally in the classical, jazz and gospel arenas since
the early 1960s. He studied with North Indian vocal master
Pandit Pran Nath from 1976 to 1991. He is currently organist
at Corpus Christ Catholic Church in the Niles area where he
lives with his daughter Karen.
Mr Cardoza teaches Jazz piano at Cal State Hayward and maintains
an active piano studio in the Fremont area. You can visit
