Assistant Professor of English, Carmen Madden
received her BA in film and MA in English with a concentration in creative writing from San Francisco State University, and has been teaching creative writing throughout the Bay Area for over ten years. Currently at Ohlone College, she teaches creative writing and English composition courses.

Ms. Madden has been published in literary magazines and has also performed with Writers Who Act in San Francisco. In addition to her teaching career, Ms. Madden is the producer, director and writer of the film, "Everyday Black Man."
